As a Debt Consultant at Thomas Charles & Co Ltd, Julia advises clients on debt solutions and provides support throughout their Individual Voluntary Arrangement process.
Julia holds a diploma and an advanced diploma in Hotel, Tourism, Catering and Travel Agency Management from West London College. Her broad training and dedication has rewarded her with “Best Newcomer Award” ,“Best Insurance Trainer of the Year” and “Top Training Consultant of the Year” (two years in a row). Julia has experience with training and developing new debt consultants and ensuring a swift response to any customer problems.

Julia was short listed for the Credit Today ‘Debt Counsellor of the Year’ award. She received special commendation at the awards ceremony on May 17th 2007.

Within a matter of minutes from dropping Julia an email the phone rang, Julia was really bright and cheerful which really helped as the hardest part of debt problems is admitting it, the biggest fear is possibly how other people will treat you, Julia was very professional and understanding which made life alot easier, she was very knowledgeable and 'knew her stuff' which gave me extreme confidence that our IVA would be a successful, it was a bumpy ride mainly due to the amount of creditors phoning, and towards the end the lack of communication between the different departments at each of the creditors we had meaning the call centre phoning had not been updated on our IVA progress but another office at the establishment had but just had not updated computer records, none of which sits with Julia it is mearly an overview of our IVA Journey.

Would We recommend Julia to other people??,

MOST definately would, Without Julia and the Team our IVA would not have been approved of February 11th 2008, and we would have still been robbing peter to pay paul.. now there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.

I was contacted by Julia on December 30th, when I was at my lowest with depression because of my financial situation. She was very helpful and explained step by step what would happen next. She was always available 24/7 for any queries I had, which was fantastic as it was a very worrying time for me. My file was then passed to the Insolvency practioner who too were very helpful and got my IVA passed on February 11th. I would reccomend Julia and her team to anybody who was in a situation like myself. I feel as if a great big weight has been lifted and I am a lot happier. BIG THANK YOU Julia

Last October 2007, I happened to see the Thomas Charles website and contacted them with regard to possiblity of entering an IVA. I was then contacted immediately by Julia Simavi who was fantastic and reassured me that she could help and guide me through the process of an IVA. Prior to speaking with Julia, I was feeling very depressed and constantly tearful about my particular financial situation After my first conversation with Julia my spirits were lifted and she was always available day and evening to assist me. Her wonderful calm and friendly manner was so reassuring. I was then passed to a sister company who took over my IVA application and they were also very good. My IVA was approved on 28 January 2008 and I would like to thank both Julia and all her colleagues for their wonderful support and assistant. Special thanks to Julia - brightest star in the sky.
